I'm a surgeon. I also built thirteen software products.
My name is César Méndez. In July 2025 I didn't know how to code; not even Excel. A year later I have thirteen products, eleven already in production, all made by me. I didn't switch careers: I operate by day and build the rest of the time. I call it Doctor-Coded.

Why
A surgeon who codes builds differently. Not because of talent, but because he knows the problem from the inside.
Operating-room precision
In surgery there's no such thing as 'almost'. I bring that same standard to every line of code: systems that can't fail because there's someone on the other side who depends on them.
I know the problem
I don't build for an industry I don't understand. I make health software because I live health every day. That's what I call Doctor-Coded: knowing exactly what hurts.
A single head
No meetings, no committees. Product, engineering and business fit in the same person. That turns months into weeks, and it shows in what I end up shipping.
The work
Thirteen products, built by one person.
From health to sport, from poker to introspection. Almost all of them started as a personal obsession rather than a business plan.
🌎 EVolve, EDGE, PRIMUM, Provecho and TrueSelf are available in Spanish, English and more languages. The rest are in Spanish, built for LATAM. We're working to internationalize all of them.
Proof
A few things that already happened.
A doctor who didn't know me paid $6,000 to join AMIA as a founder. A stranger validated what I built.
The demo I delivered at the halfway mark won them over. My first mobile app, fully functional with its web dashboard.
From not knowing how to use Excel to retraining medical models on RunPod. Thirteen products in a year, on my own.
I also write
Two books, written with AI before I could code.
In my first weeks with AI, before the first line of code, these two were born. Now in final revision, on their way to publishing.

El Arte de Sanar(se)
A way back to yourself.
A surgeon who learned that healing isn't intervening: it's remembering.
A rite of passage in 16 chapters and four alchemical portals, where neuroscience, epigenetics and ancestral wisdom meet the bare story of someone who crossed his own dark nights. Not a book to read: a mirror to remember who you are.
- —Science and spirit in communion: neuroscience, epigenetics, psychoneuroimmunology
- —Exercises, rituals and micro-practices to embody, not just read
- —Four portals: Awakening · Descent · Alchemy · Rebirth
- —Inspired by Gabor Maté, Bruce Lipton, Clarissa Pinkola Estés and Joe Dispenza
“Consciousness doesn't heal because it's light. It heals because it sees, truthfully, what was once avoided.”

Legado
A spiritual and human inheritance.
An open letter to the soul of whoever reads it.
Eleven chapters that are testimony and threshold: from the call of silence in Autlán to the encounter with Tata Kachora, from the operating room to consciousness, from love and death to purpose. A fire lit from within, written not from the expert's podium but from the skin of a human who falls and stands back up.
- —A surgeon's awakening: Wim Hof, silence, ceremony, AI
- —Love, death, reincarnation and purpose, without dogma
- —Medicine and service: healing the body and accompanying the soul
- —Closes with The Great I-Am Declaration
“You're not dreaming. You're waking up. And you're leaving a fire that others will carry on.”
Tools
I handle the whole stack myself.
From frontend to deploy, from payments to AI, from messaging to invoicing. The whole cycle fits in one person.
